This Week's Message From The Rabbi

Dear Friends,

This Shabbat - 2 Kislev 5783, November 26, 2022, we read the portion of Toldot which is the sixth portion of the Book of Breishit. This portion describes the birth of Yitzchock and Rivka's twins, Yakov and Esau, followed by the special blessings that were bequeathed to Yakov.

This Shabbat comes on the heels of Rosh Chodesh Kislev which is being celebrated this Thursday and Friday.

A great Deli Kiddush will take place after morning services. The delightful Kiddush is being sponsored by Dr. Jeff Poelvoorde in honor of: 1) His Retirement of Academia. 2) His 70th Birthday. 3) His 21st Year of Membership in Ohr HaTorah.

All shul services are warm, relaxing, haimish and easy to follow.

Friday night, Saturday morning, Mincha and weekday services enjoy a great spirit and communal participation. When you enter Ohr HaTorah, you will be greeted with a warm welcome,  encouragement and support. Our Shul participants are actively involved in the services,  which are meaningful and inspirational.
